In the early 1990s, Jean-Paul Siret, founder and current Chairman, measures the impact of an ageing population with its corollary, a heightened need for medical facilities in care homes. He then opens his first Ehpad (care home for dependent elderly people), La Chézalière, in Nantes. This new residence features a high level of accommodation services, an ambitious social and cultural lifestyle programme and medical professionals on site 24/7. This unique model launches at the same time as LNoble Age, which, 26 years later, will become LNA Santé to propose an enhanced global health offer, in the healthcare and medico-social fields.

5 years after opening the La Chézalière residence in Nantes, LNA Santé becomes a true trailblazer, building establishments specifically dedicated to Alzheimer's disease. Very soon afterwards, in 1999, the company expands into the healthcare sector through the acquisition of its first medical care and rehabilitation establishment. LNA Santé has never stopped enhancing the customer experience ever since, through innovation and the trialling of new care offers. And this is still the case today, with our ‘Sens’ approach, providing unique support for progressive neurological disorders, structured into several thematic areas (architecture, training and skills, the role of caregivers, etc.).

Thanks to its family identity and mode of governance, LNA Santé has always striven to implement a long-term corporate project. Development has been carefully controlled since 1990, with our number of establishments rising from 1 to 85 and a workforce expanding from 40 colleagues to over 9,000 in 30 years.

With its ‘Grandir Ensemble’ (growing together) strategic project, our company’s goal is clear: to become the leading independent player in transforming the healthcare offer alongside both public and institutional partners.
